Obituary of Joseph L. Bruno
Joseph Lawrence Bruno, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2012 at Calvary Hospital. He was born on May 20, 1943 in New Rochelle, New York, the son of Mildred and Joseph Bruno. At the age of 19 he met the love of his life, Laura. They married, raised two daughters, and enjoyed 45 years together in their home in Larchmont. His family was the love and ultimate joy of his life. In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by his two daughters, Karen Healey (James) and Jennifer Lynch (Robert). "Pop Pop" will be dearly missed by his eight grandchildren, his sister Frances Criscuolo (Peter), and other members of his loving family. Joseph was president and owner of Dealers Choice, a manufacturers representative company in the food service industry for 30 years. He was well respected among his business associates. Joseph was also a Vietnam War Veteran and served in the Navy for 4 years. He will be missed greatly by all who have known him. He touched the hearts and lives of so many who will never forget him.
Visiting hours at Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont, NY, Friday, March 23rd,
2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Augustine's Church in Larchmont, Saturday, 10:00 am followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
