Obituary of Hilary Eagan Clark

Hilary Eagan Clark, 48, of New York, NY, passed away Sunday, February 11 after a valiant battle with cancer. Hilary was born and raised in Greenwich, CT. She was the daughter of the late Robert H. Clark, Jr. and Rosalie Case Clark. She graduated from The Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, CT, received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Boston University, and received a M.S. in Library and Information Science at The Pratt Institute. Hilary's lifelong passion was in the arts, especially in photography. Her career in photo editing spanned several publications/websites such as the New York Times, Metropolitan Home, This Old House, and MLB.com. Hilary always had her camera with her, ready to capture and share compelling scenes around New York City, Lake Winnipesaukee (NH), and other places she loved. Hilary was a member of Bald Peak Colony Club in Melvin Village, NH, and recently served as Director of Case, Pomeroy & Company, Inc. Hilary will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Rosalie; her brother Robert H. Clark III and his wife Jennifer L. Nolen of Roanoke, VA; her brother Hadley C. Clark and his wife Sara B. Stonner of Larchmont, NY; her nieces Morgan, Hannah, and Madeline; and her nephew, Samuel. A memorial service to celebrate Hilary's life will be held on Friday, March 2 at 11 AM at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 954 Lake Avenue, Greenwich, CT., followed by a reception with details to be provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Marfan Foundation (http://www.marfan.org).
