Obituary of Mary T. Haid

Mary T. Haid, born on May 16, 1929, died peacefully on January 20, 2018. A long time resident of New Rochelle, Mary, also known as "Aunt Petty", was raised in Astoria, Queens and graduated from Mary Louis Academy. She began her career at J W Valentine & Company before joining Cotswold Industries in 1975. She subsequently became the company's Office Manager, a post she held for twenty-five years. Mary was a dedicated member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, where she volunteered her many talents in the financial field. Her family will receive friends at John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont, NY on Tuesday, January 23, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday January 24th at 9:45 AM at St Augustines in Larchmont. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Queens, NY. Memorial gifts may be made to Catholic Charities, 1011 First Avenue, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10022.
