Obituary of Michael Lesch
LESCH—Michael.
Lawyer and beloved father and grandfather, passed away early Monday morning after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Michael was born in Berlin Germany in 1938. He escaped with his parents first to England and later to the United States. A graduate of Columbia College and Harvard Law School, Michael worked as a litigator for fifty years. During his career he litigated numerous cases, including Loretto v. Teleprompter Manhattan CATV Corp., which he argued before the United States Supreme Court in 1982. He will be profoundly missed. Funeral to be held at Larchmont Temple at noon on Wednesday, August 23. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the International Rescue Committee.
