I first met Sarah when I started playing music with Tony. Talking with Sarah, and learning about her early life as a seamstress, was really interesting, and hearing how much she treasured her family…Tony, Suzanne, Max and Liz…was lovely to hear. She certainly was proud of Tony and all his accomplishments, and he was there for her all the time, especially when she moved to Larchmont. I can remember her calling him while we were rehearsing, reminding him that he had made a date to take her out to lunch pretty soon! We would finish up and Tony would go off to meet her. Sarah also was a loyal fan of our music group, and came to all of our concerts, often going out with us afterwards, too. Family was important to her and she followed and supported all their achievements proudly. I am so glad I got to know Sarah, and I am very sorry at her passing. But she certainly has left a wonderful family to carry on in her lovely, friendly way. Alice Miller
