Obituary of Doris Meister

Doris Jacobs Meister, 87, beloved wife of William Meister, passed away peacefully on May 6th. She was the daughter of Rosalind and David Jacobs of Larchmont, New York and the sister to Ann Slavin. Loving mother to Lee Meister of Santa Monica, CA, Mary Meister of Larchmont, NY and Susan Meister of Oradell, New Jersey. Devoted Grandmother to Emily Donovan, Samuel Donovan, Catherine Ricca and Madeline Ricca. Doris graduated from Syracuse University in 1950 with a degree in social work. Doris was a member of the Larchmont Community Chorus and the Larchmont Garden Club. She worked for the Bank of New York for twelve years. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont, NY. Funeral service will be private.
