Obituary of Catherine A. O'Connor

Catherine A. "Cathy" O'Connor of Manhattan, New York and Lake Cuomo, New Jersey, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Calvary Hospital after a valiant fight with kidney cancer. Cathy was born August 16, 1965 in Manhattan to Daniel and Catherine O'Connor and was raised in Larchmont. Cathy attended high school at the Academy of the Resurrection in Rye, N.Y. and earned a B.S. in Communications from S.U.N.Y at Oneonta. For the past twenty years, Cathy has been a Marketing executive with a variety of mass-market retailers, most recently with Spiegel LLC and Red Cats USA. Cathy is survived by her parents, Daniel and Catherine O'Connor of Larchmont, and her siblings, Maureen O'Connor, Daniel (Debra) O'Connor, Edward (Bonnie) O'Connor, Anne Marie (O'Connor) Fields, Jane O'Connor, John (Rosamund) O'Connor, and Mary Ellen O'Connor (Albert Notafrancesco). She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call Tuesday, February 28th from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 pm at the John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. Catherine's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 29th at 11:00 am in St. Augustine's Church in Larchmont.
