Obituary of Paul Edward Forsman

Paul Edward Forsman, Jr. formerly of Larchmont, New York, died peacefully January 7th, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT, at the age of 84. Born on November 29, 1932 in New Rochelle, N.Y., he was the son of the late Paul E. Forsman and Marie Stack Forsman. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and was President of C.H. Forsman Company in New York City, and later worked for Charter Oak Insurance Agency in Wilton, CT. His wife, Millicent, and brothers, John and J.J., predeceased him. He is survived by his four children, Paul (Cornelia) of Bridgehampton, NY, James (Kirsten) of Largo, FL, William (Pollena) of Larchmont NY, Carrie of New Milford CT, stepson Sean Doyle of Westport, CT, brothers Thomas (Phyllis) of Midland Park, NJ, Peter (Lea) of Nashville, TN, sister, Linda Heine, of Mamaroneck, NY, and cousin Donna Carpenter of Weathersfield, CT. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul had a passion for golf and was a Lifetime Member of Winged Foot Golf Club and serviced as its President from 1979 to 1981. He also loved sailing and was a member of the Larchmont Yacht Club, where he was a Frostbite I.C. dinghy champion. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 2080 Boston Post Road, Larchmont, NY 10538. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 13th at St. Augustine's Church, Larchmont Avenue, Larchmont, NY.
