Obituary of Natalie Dorf

Natalie Dorf of Mamaroneck passed away at home surrounded by family on December 1, 2016. Born February 25, 1935 to Benjamin and Leona Feitelson, Natalie attended High School on Staten Island and Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. Following graduation from college, she did her training for her physical therapy degree at Albany Medical Hospital. Thereafter, she went on to practice physical therapy at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC. On June 5, 1959, she married Noel Dorf the love of her life. Natalie is survived by her husband and three children Jon (Yvonne), Greg (Margaret) and Jason (Jen) as well as 7 grandchildren Samantha, Julia, Eliza, Brianny, Olivia, Owen and Alexa. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, she loved traveling, skiing, tennis, boating and playing bridge with her friends. Natalie's unique presence and welcoming nature will be deeply missed. Natalie's funeral will be held on Sunday, December 4th at 12:30pm at Larchmont Temple, 75 Larchmont Avenue, Larchmont NY with a burial to immediately follow at Mt. Eden Cemetery, 20 Commerce St., Valhalla, NY. Shiva will be after the burial from 4pm - 9pm, the family will also sit shiva on Monday, December 5th from 2pm -5pm and 6pm-9pm.
