Obituary of Ura Wright

Ura Wright, a longtime resident of New Rochelle passed away October 12, 2016 at the age of 101. She was born in Jamaica, WI to Sidney and Zilla Wright. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Church of the Holy Family. Ura participated in the Foster Grandparent Program for 14 years, and spent the last 13 years of her life as a resident of the Sarah Neuman Center in Mamaroneck. She is survived by her loving daughters Claudette (Harry) Archer and Gladita Riley. She was the adoring grandmother of Tiffany Archer and Yanik Archer. She was the dear aunt of Gloria Valentine and Brian McLaren. Visiting Friday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. Mass Saturday 10:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Family in New Rochelle. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
