Obituary of Nancy Hoffmann

Nancy Hoffmann (Elizabeth W. Hoffmann) passed away at her home peacefully on June 19, 2016. She was 92. Nancy was known for her beautiful blond hair, her contagious laugh, and her wonderful sense of humor. She was a long-time Larchmont resident, and very active in the community. During the 1970's and early 1980's - Nancy was an involved volunteer at the Larchmont Volunteer Ambulance Corps. She took great pride in being the ambulance driver, and it was wonderful to hear her brag about "parking that big rig on a dime" or speeding through the Larchmont tool booth on I-95 like a "tailor threads a needle" with full sirens blaring. Nancy loved to laugh, loved her friends, and lived a full-life in Larchmont for over 70 years. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth P. Hoffmann, beloved granddogs Benny and Ilsa, and her son William J. Hoffmann, Jr. She will be missed greatly by all.
