Obituary of Mary T. Rizzo

Mary T. Rizzo a long time resident of The Bronx and of New Rochelle for the last decade passed away on December 24, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born in New York City to Joseph and Rose D'Angiolillo, she was 95 on November 19th. She was married to Philip M. Rizzo, Jr from 1942 until his death in 1968. With her gifted hands she worked as a seamstress in New York City. She was the devoted, loving, and proud mom of Vicki and grandma of Jennifer. Mary was predeceased by her devoted late son-in-law, Nicholas, her brother, Anthony (Sonny) and his wife, Ruth and her 14 Rizzo brothers and sisters-in-law. Mary was well loved by her many nieces, nephews, and their spouses and children. Mary was a wonderful cook who took pride in offering her family "just one more serving." Her faith and family were the most important things in her life.. Visiting at John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc. 2080 Boston Post road in Larchmont on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass Tuesday 10:00 am at St. Augustine Church in Larchmont. Interment at St. Raymond's Cemetery in The Bronx.
