Obituary of Marian Presberg
Marian Sue Presberg, 55, beloved wife of David Stolman, devoted mother of Matthew and Benjamin Stolman, adored sister of Jan Presberg, and cherished daughter of Shirley and Harry Presberg passed away on November 10 at home surrounded by family in Larchmont, NY. Marian graduated from Tulane University and received her Masters Degree and PhD. in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University. While at the Rose F. Kennedy Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Presberg was one of the first psychologists in the NY metropolitan area to work with HIV positive children. She also did therapy with the families of veterans affected by Agent Orange. She was in private practice in Larchmont. Marian volunteered as a bereavement counselor at the Tree House and also to those affected by 9/11. Marian's memorial service will be held at Larchmont Temple on November 13 at 12:30 PM. Marian will be dearly missed for her wit, insight and compassion.
