Obituary of Nicola Staropoli

Nicola Staropoli, Age 90, on October 9, 2015. Born in Stefanaconi Italy to Pasquale and Annunziata. Beloved husband of the late Raffaela (Lena) for 57 years. They made their home in New Rochelle since 1952. He devoted 40 years of his life to the family business at P&P Fruit and Simply the Best in New Rochelle. Loving father of Nancy Frugis (Michael), Pat Staropoli (Mary Beth), and Maryann DeMoura (Arthur). Grandfather to Philip (Lillian), Audrey, Marielle, Matthew, Jessica, Matt and Natalie. Great grandfather to Olivia, Philip Jr., Kayla and Eva. Visiting Monday October 12th, 4-9pm at John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. The Staropoli family will gather at the funeral home Tuesday morning at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye. In lieu of flowers donations to United Hebrew home in New Rochelle or to Calvary Hospitals Bronx.
