Obituary of Deborah Frank
It is with great sadness that we announce that after a long and courageous fight, Debbie Frank has lost her battle with cancer. Debbie was vivacious and a force with whom to be reckoned - she was "real" in every sense of the word. Debbie was a beloved wife to Matt, devoted mother to Andrew and Harrison, caring daughter and sister, funny and fun-loving aunt and an exhilarating presence in the lives of countless friends, colleagues - to all who met her and knew her. Born in The Bronx, Debbie and Matt settled in Larchmont and with Debbie leading the way created a warm and loving home - one centered around family and open to all. In her career, Debbie provided not only fitness, but a nurturing of the soul and spirit to many in the community who were devoted students at the Debbie Frank Exercise Studio in Larchmont and later - as a senior teacher and trainer - at Exhale throughout the United States. Debbie went far beyond the expectation of a fitness instructor. In addition to Matt, Andrew and Harrison, Debbie is survived by her father Joseph Iovino, her mother Carmela, brothers Joe, Peter and Christopher, and her nephews Anthony, Joe, Simon and nieces Allyson, Lely, Sarah, Becky, Emma, and great-niece Ellie. Debbie had a tremendously positive impact on the lives of so many; her legacy will be passed on by all who she touched.
