Obituary of Rose Wolf

WOLF--Rosel, died peacefully on April 17, 2015, at her long-time home in Mamaroneck, NY. Born June 14, 1921 in Bochum, Germany, she was the daughter of Joseph and Fanny Fruchter. She immigrated to the United States in 1937, marrying in 1942. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur, and survived by her daughters Sandy Wolf Soule and her husband Steve Soule of Riverside CT; Diane Wolf and her husband Lewis Bennett of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren Hilary Soule Shea and her husband David; Jeff Soule and his wife Rebecca; Lisa Bennett and her husband David Almog; Joshua Wolf Bennett and his wife, Katie, and great-grandchildren Zachary, Arianna, Ellie, Jacob, and Max. Rosel was a talented teacher, mentor, and a partner in Arthur's businesses. She was an active member of Larchmont Temple for over 60 years, and a strong supporter of Israel. As a refugee from the Holocaust, Rosel valued every family member, and made family of friends, students and employees. Her loving spirit will be a blessed memory forever. The funeral will take place at Larchmont Temple on Sunday, April 19 at 12:30 pm.
