Obituary of Patricia Foley

Patricia Foley, 87, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2015. Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Jack. She was born in Needham, Mass., to Irene and Pasquale D'Agostino. She idolized her father, also known as Patsy, who founded the D'Agostino supermarket chain. Also surviving her are her six children: Ann, Steve (Cathy), Liz, Jacqueline (Tim), Christine and Tammy (Bob). She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and her brother Steve D'Agostino (Gail) of Williamsburg, Va. Her sister, Joan Lowman, predeceased her. Pat was a beautiful and remarkable woman who was the epitome of style, elegance and grace. She was an effortless host and homemaker who was active in the community including the Larchmont Woman's Club, The Church of Sts. John & Paul and The Ladies of Charity, among others. She also volunteered for many years at New Rochelle Hospital. She and Jack were also long-time members of The Larchmont Yacht Club and before that Coveleigh. Her greatest joy besides her family was the time she spent each summer in Cape Cod. No visitation will be held. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at Sts. John & Paul. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the National Down Syndrome Society.
