Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 1, 1932 Eileen was the first of two daughters born to James and Marjorie Corbett. Eileen spent her school years living in Brooklyn, before meeting her future husband, Edward Alan Brown, and embarking on a busy and exciting life as a military bride. Eileen held the ever growing family together as they moved from base to base and state to state, all the while completing her bachelor's degree at the University of New Mexico. The family of eight moved to Larchmont, NY in 1968 and happily settled in for the remainder of their years. While Eileen's children were young, she was actively involved in the Newcomer's Club and served as the president of the Larchmont Women's Club. In her early 40s Eileen returned to academia and very proudly received her Masters in Business Administration from Iona College, which she put to good use as President of the family consulting business, DB Systems Corp. Eileen and Ed enjoyed the theater, the opera, couple's bridge, and entertaining friends and family. They were always a show-stopper couple on the dance floor. After retirement, they traveled extensively and cherished their time together in their homes in St. Thomas, V.I. and Stuart, Florida. Eileen and Ed were longtime members of Westchester Country Club. Eileen was a loving and devoted wife and mother, as well as a gourmet cook and excellent baker. She is survived by her sister Mary Jane Berlejung (Paul) and her six children: Eileen Corwin (Jimmy Alfredo), Edward, Kevin (Eileen), Kenneth (Linda), Ellen Hoeg (Will), and James (Linda) as well as twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
