Obituary of Arthur Burke O'Brien

O'Brien, Arthur Burke, of New Rochelle, NY, passed away on January 6, 2012, at the age of 83. Beloved husband for 53 years of the late Shirley J. O'Brien, he is survived by his loving children Kevin J. O'Brien (Jennifer Sclar), Mark V. O'Brien and Claire F. O'Brien (Timothy Brosnan), grandchildren Rebecca, Sarah, Benjamin and Abigail O'Brien, Justine O'Brien, and Kevin, Helen and Charlotte Brosnan, and great-grandson Aidyn Ocasio. Arthur is also survived by his devoted sisters Virginia Swanton, Claire Garry and Sheila Finewood, and brother James O'Brien. Arthur was born in Rochester, NY, graduated in 1950 from Niagara University and spent his entire career with The Eastman Kodak Company, living with his family during his career throughout the United States. He lived many idyllic years on Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes. There will be a private Mass for the family, and a celebration of his life at a later date this Spring in the Rochester area. His unselfish and kind spirit will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements are being handled by John J. Fox Funeral Home, Larchmont, N.Y.
