When Sunday, January 11th, 2015 8:45am Location Larchmont Temple Address 75 Larchmont Ave. Larchmont, NY 10538 Service Extra Info Shiva to be observed Sunday after the interment and Monday 2-4 and 6-9 pm at 59 Park St., Haverhill, MA. For members of the congregation and the community at large who would like to express their condolences, the family will observe shiva in the Garden Room of Larchmont Temple Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. with minyan service at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome. For family and friends, the family will sit shiva at 21 Larchmont Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday, from 2 – 5 and 7 – 9 pm, with minyan services at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering to fund Dr. David Kelsen’s research, 633 Third Avenue, 28th Fl, New York, NY 10017 or The Susan Sirkman Fund c/o Larchmont Temple.

Obituary of Susan Beth Sirkman

Susan Beth Sirkman, passed away January 8, 2015, surrounded by her family. Wife of Rabbi Jeffrey, of Larchmont Temple. She was a nurturing, embracing presence in the Larchmont community for over 25 years; beloved by the generations. Susan was born in Danvers, Mass. To Baynard & Leona Paul, one of seven siblings. She received a B.A. from Wheelock College in Special Education and taught special Education and nursery school. Truly a life teacher to all, Susan's strength of spirit continues to inspire friends and family. Beloved wife of Jeffrey, loving mother of Aaron, Alexander, Gabriel [Chelsea] and Sophie Alice. Devoted daughter of Leona and the late Baynard. Cherished sister of Howard [Gina], Nancy, Ellen [Gary] Gobbi, David[Mattie], Matthew[Laurie], Allison[Jim]. Adoring Aunt of 15 nieces and nephews as well as three grand nieces and nephews. Dear sister in law of Rhonda [David] Bombard, Partner in retail havoc, Robin Fuchsberg. Surrogate mother of Bella. Funeral Service Sunday, 8:45 am at Larchmont Temple, 75 Larchmont Avenue, Larchmont, NY 10538. Interment to follow at Children of Israel Cemetery Haverhill, MA.
