Joseph R. Adelfio Sr., of Larchmont passed away peacefully on December 22nd, he was 82. Joseph was the Proprietor of Adelfi Bros Fuel Co. and several other local businesses. Born in Brooklyn, New York to his loving parents Nunzio and Francesca (Ne: Ruggiero) Adelfio. Beloved husband of Frances (Ne: Cammareri). Devoted father of Thomas (Diane), Paul, Joseph Jr. (Masako) and Francesca (Jorge). Adoring grandfather of Jennifer and Joseph. Great grandfather of Nichole. Dear brother of Frank. The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday 3-7 PM at the John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont, NY. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 AM at Sts. John & Paul Church in Larchmont. Entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
