Obituary of Nel Gallin

Helen C. Gallin (Nel), a longtime resident of Larchmont passed away on December 15, 2014. She was a lifelong member of the St. Augustine Church. She was heavily involved in The St. Monica Guild, Ladies Auxiliary and the PTA. She was a 50 year member of Bonnie Briar Country Club where she was President of the Ladies Golf Committee and the Ladies Bowling League. Nel was also a lifelong member of the Manor Park Society. Beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Gallin. Loving mother of Ann Marie (Thomas Ruddick), Connie (Michael Cotroneo), Michael, Maureen (William Heath), Christopher (Nancy), Joseph (late Margaret), Thomas Jr. (Ally) and Robert (Gertrude). Adoring grandmother of Curtis, Joseph, Peter, Andrew, Ashley, Reilly, TJ, Mary, Kevin, Patrick, Connor, Alexandra, Matthew, Jake, Thomas and Emily. Dear twin of Nora Winkle, and sister of Florrie Feurbach and the late Jean Marie Mendes, Patrick Collins and Lawrence Collins. Sister-in-law of Sr. Alice Gallin OSU. Visiting Wednesday 7-9 PM, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. Mass Friday 10 AM at St. Augustine Church In Larchmont. Interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
