Dear Caroline, When you were a little girl (and Susan a tiny baby, and Gary not even born), my Mom (Toni) and your Mom "hung out" together for a short time. They knew each other from Uncle Joe and Aunt Tid (she's my Godmother). I was about 9 years old. I wanted you to know that, to this day, my memory of your Mom is this: the first person I ever knew who had freckles, the MOST beautiful woman I had ever seen and a smile that made me want to smile, too. I only just realized that she was probably only in her twenties at the time. So, so young. And now, much too young to have left this world. I send you my thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences for your loss. May God keep you in His loving arms at this difficult time.
