Anna Stier Schmaus passed away on Sunday, Oct 27, 2013 at the age of 95. Born in Hungary, she emigrated to the United States in 1937. Here she met her husband, Paul Schmaus. They were married for 54 years. Surviving her are 2 daughters, Anna and Elizabeth, 3 grandsons, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed. A memorial service will be held Friday November 1, 2013, 11:00 AM, at The John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc. 2080 Boston Post Road Larchmont, NY 10538. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hawthorn.
