Obituary of Marie Cilento
Marie Cilento passed away suddenly on August 15 after a courageous battle against ovarian cancer. She was born on June 7, 1929 to Mary and Liberato Rocchio in East Harlem, New York. She attended Washington Irving High School where she was the award -winning editor of the school newspaper, and graduated with honors from Brooklyn College in 1951. She retired from her job as an administrator at the Taxi and Limousine Commission in 1992.
