Obituary of Lynn Kotzen

Kotzen, Lynn Andrews, peacefully on July 11 at 81 years of age. Beloved wife of 45 years of the late Marvin Stanley Kotzen, mother of Elinor Kotzen Spokes and Deborah Kotzen, mother-in-law of Jeffrey Spokes, grandmother of adoring grandsons Joshua, Tobias and Isaac Spokes, sister of Joseph L. Andrews Jr. and Dale Andrews Eldridge and the late Ann Andrews Paxton, sister-in-law of Isabelle (Kotzen) and Jerome Balbus, Harold Paxton and Maurice Eldridge, and aunt of many loving nieces and nephews. Born in New York City in 1932, Lynn was raised in Scarsdale, where she graduated from high school. A graduate of Wellesley College, she pursued a career in personal management for many years. For the past fifty years, she had been a resident of Larchmont and New Rochelle where she was active in many civic and religious organizations and loved by the people whose lives she touched. She was universally admired for her leadership, her spirit and spunk, and her commitment to making a difference in her community. Her passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew her. Funeral will be held on Monday, July 15 at 11:30 a.m. at John J. Fox Funeral Home, 2080 Boston Post Road, Larchmont, NY 10538. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Planned Parenthood Federation of America, 434 West 33rd Street, New York, NY 10001.
