Mickey, as he was known to family & friends, is survived by his beloved wife, Marie (Calcagni) of 56 years. He was a devoted father to children Jeannie, Michael, Theresa & John, & grandchildren Crystal, Marisa & Angela. He worked as a truck driver for decades before moving to New Rochelle & becoming self-employed in construction.
An extremely hard worker, Mickey's talents transferred to his hobbies, including carpentry, plumbing, electric, masonry, landscaping & car mechanics. His love of Italian food was a passion, & he remained an ardent fan of classic hillbilly & country-western music of the 1940s through the 1970s, performed by such singers as Hank Williams, Roy Acuff & The Carter Family.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
