Our Dear Friend, Mario, Everything you did in life was big and special. The glow of your unique smile whenever you entered a room made this troubled world just a little-bit brighter. I can say without hesitation that you never bored me or anyone I know of, no never Mario, not for a second; to your multitude of friends you presented for whatever time we would share together, interesting conversation, fun, humor and real and honest warmth, and Mario dear friend, there isn't any other on this planet that I could say that about.
I will truly miss you old buddy and you will be remembered by me every time I pick up a cue-stick, and reminded how so kindly and lovingly you could "run the table" and beat the Sh*T out of me every single time. Mario, find a heated table up there, be sure it's level (as if I have to tell you) and get it all going. Look up "Sang Lee" and give him my regards, and most of all "practice, practice, practice because I will be doing just that at the "Carom Café" and I'll be demanding a rematch "as usual"; and yes, you are right Mr. Schinella, I have no shame!
Until we get together; you are always in our hearts,
Love Naile and Vito.

For those who missed it...My Euology: I love a good story - Don't you? I love telling a good story and i'd like to think I'm pretty witty, but I can't take all the credit because my dad provided me with some great material. So here's my story: We all just celebrated my Dad's 85th Birthday on April 2ns. He was surrounded by his family - just hanging out in his bedroom singing his favorite songs. From now on every time I hear ti Voglio bene si- by Andrea Bocceli I will think of you Dad! Singing along waiting for that high note! He was so happy and said it was his best birthday ever. We played "Name that Tune". We sang a few lyrics and he guessed the songs by singing the rest of it. Then I said, "Ok dad, now it's your turn - pick a song". So he began to snap his fingers. I sais, "Dad this isn't the snapping game, you have to sing a few of the words" his response was, "Well I can't give it all away at once" so I said, "Dad...you gotta give us something". So dad proceeded to sing "How I love" We were stumped, so he said, "Mommy will know it." We called Mom into the room and she got it immediately! Of course his song was "How I Love the Kisses of Dolores" After 63 years of marriage, that's the song he still wanted to sing for her - Incredible! I remember a while back watching the Hurricane Sanday Refief concert with him and Bruce Springstein was on stage, so i asked, "Dad, do you know who that is?" His response..."Of course!" as he began to belt out "Born in the USA" - a song he taught his grandson Stephen at like age 4 or 5. Again...Incredible! His grandchildren were his pride and joy. When his grandson Christopher was about 3, I remember him video taping him for a good 20 minutes or more having him dressed in full "Rocky" attire - satin boxing robe, ver cool tube socks, and boxing gloves bigger than him, dancing around and fake-fighting to the "Rocky" theme song - until the poor little guy, all tuckered out said, "Boompie I'm tired, I have to make a wee wee" Dad just cracked up! Then came his little granddaughter Jamie Lee, who at age 1 received a pink ride-on toy from her Pop Pop, but it was a little flimsy and she kept tipping over on it and falling off. So, needless to say, after saying a few "choice words", that car got flung across the room and he immediately ran out of the hous only to arrive back home 1/2 hour later with the state-of-the-art motorized Car - Only the BEST for his grandchildren! Our Dad enjoyed 85 years. He gave us all a Blessed life with his love and generosity. We didn't need computers or electronics - we had his "made-up" games. We had living room football, shoot the marbles through the shoebox and kitchen soccer - yea, Mom loved that one! They were the best! we had intense ping pong Tournaments, basketball games, baseball games, badmitton and Lawn Jarts in the backyard - Who needed more than that? Best of all were his practical jokes - Oh he was GOOD! Who could forget the fly in the Ice Cubes and on the spoon - Poor Aunt Vera, she was such an easy mark! His famous fake sneeze with the flash Bulb "Snot Bubble" in the nose was his signature innitiation to new members of the family. If he pulled that stunt on you, you knew you were part of the family! Let's not forget the dreaded "Dribble Glass" - yes many of you left with soaked shirts by the end of the night. He had a million gags. He was like a little devil just waiting to get you! Everyone who met him instantly loved him. the Man had Charm - That's for sure! But Dad's greatest Joy was being around his Wife, children, grandchildren and Great grandson Dylan, who he adored. Dad met the Love-of-his-life and married her 63 years ago - My Mom - how awesome is that? They were 2 peas in a pod, sewn at the hip. It was never just Mario or Just Dolores...it was Mario & Dolores - That was the complete sentence! He leaves behind an amazing family because of his love for all of us. His nickname was "Mr. Lucky" - but, in fact, we were the lucky ones! Thank you Dad for being the best Father, Grandfather and Husband we could have ever asked for. You will live in our hearts and memories for Forever and a day! We Love You Dad!

We will always remember my dad saving Mario from drowning at the Township pool. The funny thing is my father did not know how to swim either. The laughter and enjoyment they shared was priceless. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and maybe Mario, Louie and my dad are sharing a glass of wine at the "Big Apple Restaurant" in the sky ... With sincere sympathy, Carla, Keith, Sean and Kyle

Dearest Cousin Mario you were more like a big brother to me than a cousin. You always watched out for me as a teenager. So protective. Your wonderful sense of humor will always stay in my memories. I will miss you dearly and you will always be in my heart.
Love you always, Your Cousin Eileen

You showed me how to play games, you had patience for my with my adhd when others did not. We laughed and sang, and enjoyed Christams after Christams. I will miss you very much you were a big part of my child hood both on my mother's side and my fathers side. Now you and my dad are together once more. Rest in Peace my dear cousin.
