Obituary of Glenn L. Brody

Glenn Leonard Brody of Larchmont died November 22, 2011, at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle due to complications related to Multiple Sclerosis. He was 66. He was born December 7, 1944, in the Bronx, son of Theodore (Ted) and Esther Brody. Glenn was educated in New York City public schools and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at NYU. He then joined the Teacher Corps program and completed a Master's in Education program at the University of Kentucky. He was employed as a teacher in the Rye Neck school system and subsequently entered a family-owned kitchen-design business where he remained for the balance of his career. He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing, golf, and skiing. Most of all, he treasured time spent with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife Dorothy (Dotty); son Ashley and daughter-in-law Cathi; brothers Mark Brody and Myron Brody; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends. In lieu of a funeral service a celebration of Glenn's life will be held Sunday, Nov. 27, from 12-4 p.m. at the Watercolor Café, 2094 Boston Post Road, Larchmont. All who love Glenn and his family are welcome to attend.
