Obituary of Jemima Ina Aloia

Jemima Aloia, 85 of Larchmont, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 20,2025.

Lovingly known as Ina, she was born to Charles and Mary McCombe on December 19,1939 in Glasgow, Scotland. 

At the age of 18, Ina traveled to the United States settling in Westchester, NY where she raised her three sons. Ina was a dedicated mother who worked hard to raise her boys to become dedicated, loving parents themselves. 

On August 4,2001, Ina married Joseph Aloia. Together, they built a loving life and enjoyed spending time with their families, many friends and grandchildren. 

Ina was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mary McCombe, her brother John McCombe and her stepson, Peter Viola. She is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Aloia, her adoring children, Charles Viola, Michael (Kisie) Viola, Scott (Allyson) Viola and her loving grandchildren, Davon and Cooper Viola, Shayna and Mason Viola, and Jenna, Jayson and Jake Viola, who will forever miss their Grandma Ina. Ina is also survived by her sister, Cathie Matheson, her stepdaughters, Carol Brander and Mary Signorelli, her many nieces, nephews and close family friends, who will all miss her dearly.

Funeral arrangements will be held on Saturday January 25,2025 from 4pm-8pm at John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc. at 2080 Boston Post Rd. Larchmont, NY 10538.
