Gene J. Sweet born December 28, 1947-died November 29, 2024 Gene was born in Mount Kisco, NY, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, NY. Gene was a in the US Army from 1967-1970 and joined the Village of Larchmont Police Department in 1973. Gene remained on the force for thirty years and retired in 2003. Mr. Sweet left an indelible mark on Larchmont Village and on Sept. 19, 2003 the village declared that day to be Gene Sweet Day for his many years of loyal service. Visitation will be held on December 12, 2024 from 4pm-7:30pm with a memorial service starting at 7:30 immediately following the visiting at The John J.
