Wendy--My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I met John at the Larchmont Arts Fair when I was drawn to the display of his strking photographs. His eye for composition and his skill with light and color was incredible. I was looking for a bat mitzvah gift for a colleague's daughter whose favorite colors were lavender and robin's egg blue. John helped me find two lovely pictures. I can't remember the subjects--something with sky and water, maybe. My colleague told me that they were her daughter's favorite gifts, and they have traveled with her daughter from her bedroom at home to her dorm room at college. How fortunate you were to have such a man, who shared his goodness, sensitivity, warmth, and intelligence with the world.
