Tom Sr., Erin, Christy, Tom, Kerry, Liz, and extended families -- My sincere condolences on Sandy's passing. I have empathized with all of you these last few years while she was in decline and I appreciate how you've all persevered to this day, a sad one certainly even as we can find solace in the notion that your mom is no longer suffering. Your house on Mayhew was a second home for me growing up and I tell stories about experiences there to this day. I'll always appreciate the Constabiles for your openness towards others and the particular zest for life I first learned about in that home. Your mom drove the largest station wagon I've ever seen.
My wife, children, and I will be traveling home from overseas on January 6rth so I regret that I can't be in two places at once, because under any other circumstance I'd be in Larchmont with you on that day. I look forward to the next time I'm passing through New York so I can come and hug as many of you in person as possible.
