Death notice:

With a heavy heart, we share the news that Carolyn Marie Brown-Okay of New Rochelle passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2023. She died peacefully of natural causes in her sleep at 64 years old.

She was a kind and gentle ear to many, with a penchant for compassion that always left a mark.

She is survived by her two sons, Matthew and Daniel, her sisters Eva and Valarie, and by the countless others that hold her in their heart.

A memorial gathering will be held at the John J. Fox Funeral Home, 2080 Boston Post Road, Larchmont, NY, 10538 on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 3-7PM.

Interment will be private.

Any donations in memoriam can be made to the National Heritage Trust for the department of NYS Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation.
