Obituary of Barbara K. Boyles
Barbara K. Boyles of Port Jervis, New York, passed away on March 6, 2023 at the age of 74. Barbara was born in Williamsport, PA on March 31, 1948 to John E. Holmes and Emma V. (O’Connor) Yoder. Barbara worked for the Orange County, NY Probation Department for many years until her retirement. In retirement, she was an avid gardener and an excellent cook, always trying new recipes.
Barbara loved fishing and camping with her husband Bob, spending many nights around the campfire with friends she and Bob met over the years. She also enjoyed every minute with her grandsons and her dogs throughout the years - Brillo, Molly and Annie.
Barbara is predeceased in death by her husband, Robert M. Boyles, II, her parents, her sisters Ruth Spurlin and Patricia Kuhn, and her brothers Gary Holmes and Robert Holmes. Barbara is survived by her daughter Amy C. O’Hara (Snyder), son-in-law Peter M. O’Hara, grandsons Patrick and Timothy all of Larchmont, NY, sister Deborah Simon of Milton, PA, brother Harry Holmes of Smithville, TN and her beloved Annie.
