Remembering my beloved mother-in-law, You were a steadfast presence, right from the beginning of my marriage and through every challenge. Whenever John and I faced difficulties, your comforting messages always reminded me of his deep love and how much he valued me.
You were John's light in moments of sadness, and a treasured friend to both of us. Your genuine kindness and generosity were truly admirable, always bringing me comfort when I felt uncertain or lost. You will be profoundly missed. Love, Marivic

Mom: you are so missed but we know you will watch over us now. You fought like Rocky through all your illnesses and lived way beyond anyone’s expectations to the point I thought you would never die…. But then you did on December 6. The Feast of Saint Nicholas — the celebration of Santa Claus who you were to us with so many presents to shop for and give us while we waited on the stairs where so we could not see the display. Since love lottery and scratch offs I asked you once your favorite number and you said 6. 6 Kids. Sixth sense. As I write 6 pigeons perched on the ledge.(my wife confirmed the count). You once had an out of body experience after getting hit in the head with a softball and watched from above as everyone gathered around you. You also had a dream about your cousin waving at you and driving away in a sports car the night he died. The night you died I had a dream about getting back into physical shape and woke up suddenly around 5AM. I was driving up to see you that morning when dad told me you died — that evening I napped in your chair, prayed at your bed and drove to Southampton where a flock of deer were grazing on the land next to you that you left for them to have a safe place. It was beautiful to see them and gave me some comfort. You said if you could come back as an animal you’d come back as a Golden retriever — a family loving sweet friendly dog. We talked about all this silly stuff and I will miss those conversations but they also remind me that you believed in a world beyond this and I’m sure someday we will meet again there. I plan to be the dolphin that greets you as you chase a frisbee into the ocean. Love you mom. John

I always say when my brother met Emalie, he got lucky. He met his match! She welcomed us into her family as we welcomed her into ours. She was a source of inspiration to my brother. Always kind and supportive to me, I could never say no when she and my brother asked me to babysit for their growing brood. Over the years Emalie was steadfast in her love and support for my brother and her family. She was immensely kind to my mother and father and always lent a helping hand and words of support. Emalie was a role model for all of us. She will be sorely missed but at last she is in the comforting hands of God. I love you Emalie, your fond sister in law, Anne

Wonderful memories of growing up with the Feerick clan. Always fun, loud, adventurous. Sitting around the kitchen table in Mt Kisco, Southampton, or Larchmont was always an eye opener! Stories to be shared, secrets to be told, lessons to be learned. Piano lessons, mounds of laundry (and paperwork!), carpooling to church/CCD. Adventures to Windham, Stowe and Southampton…. There was always room for one more. Such a kind and generous family, but especially Mrs. Feerick. You will be missed!
