Tara died and a day later a new red-haired cat showed up in my backyard. She still comes everyday to snuggle up and nap on the lounge chair. The squirrels are not afraid of her. She is a lover - not a fighter.
Tara always said she wanted to come back as a cat. I said I want to come back as YOUR cat - pampered and spoiled.
Thank you, Tara, for sending a sign that you are okay.
I will miss you forever.
Your Sister, always,
Kate

My sister Tara: a kind and gentle soul whose ear was always available no matter what! Tara had an unbelievable knowledge of so many topics in life, I called her a walking encyclopedia! She was the gatekeeper of our family lineage and memories. I'm so happy my family took her on many European trips because loved the adventures and told us all fun facts about the places we visited.., of course! Tara loved her crossword puzzles and the show Jeopardy. I made sure not to call her at 7pm because I knew she was deep into the show.
Tara was a lover of horses and our family was delighted to send her to the Kentucky Derby for her big 50th birthday. She was so touched by her siblings gift and brought us all back a baseball cap from the derby. Upon visiting her apartment we were all very touched by some of her neighbors that came in to give us hugs & kisses to share they loved her too.
We will miss Tara forever. I TRUE IRISH ROSE XOXOXOXOXO
