Joan M. Roche, Ph. D. of Hartsdale passed away March 8, 2025.  Dr. Roche was a professional nurse, having received her nursing degree at the Bellevue School of Nursing. She received a B. S. in Education from Hunter College New York, and an MSN, MA, and Ph. D. at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She was on staff at Bellevue Hospital before moving to Washington, D.C. where she held positions at the Washington Hospital Center, Providence Hospital and Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia. She was an Associate Professor of Nursing at Marymount University in Arlington, Va.

Dr. Roche was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Anthony Roche and her brother Anthony Thomas Roche. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Joan on Saturday March 15. 2025 11:15 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 8 Carman Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583,  Interment is private.
