Posts to the tribute of Alice Mulderrig

I met Alice when I came to St. John and Paul as a summer priest, a student from Rome. We struck up a relationship at first sight. She would drive herself to Mass every day, and her love for the Eucharist was evident. On her 97th birthday, we had an early dinner in the Rye and took memorable photos, which she had printed for me. After several years, on one of my visits again, I visited her apartment for seniors, where she had closer care. She was so glad to see me again and was all over my face with tender, motherly kisses. We wondered if we would meet again! I will miss her. She lived to the full and was so religious, and may God rest her soul in eternal peace!
